Cymatics is a 16' tall silo located in the Dramcorp Factory. The ceiling of the silo is a large acrylic tank that holds 40 gallons of water. Three linear actuators, driven by custom spatial audio software, create ripples in the water which are projected down into the silo by a large array of light, covering the walls and the floor in waves. The rate of the actuators are dictated by the spatial panning rate of the generative audio system.
