Angel Oloshove studied painting at California College of the Arts. She worked in graphic design and toy development in Tokyo for six years.

Her work often experiments with painterly glazes to express feelings of transcendental experiences through form and color. She has a fine art practice of sculptural ceramics as well as her own line of functional design pottery.

She was a finalist for the 2015 and 2018 Houston Artadia Award. In 2019 she was shortlisted for the American Craft Council Emerging Artist award.

She currently teaches ceramic sculpture at the University of Houston and the Glassell Studio School. She is represented by Uprise Art in New York and Form & Concept in Santa Fe.
