Bio

Kaitlyn Armendáriz is the Regional Impact Manager for Meow Wolf overseeing Social Impact Initiatives for The Real Unreal and Radio Tave locations, including arts education initiatives, non-profit support, and community partnerships and outreach.

Kaitlyn has a background in Art History and Middle Eastern & North African Studies. Her research specializes in cultural heritage and the arts, and roles in sustainable social and economic development – particularly in areas affected by neocolonialism. She has presented her research both nationally and internationally, and continues to actively conduct research in her field and teach as an Adjunct Professor of Art History.

Prior to joining the Social Impact Team at Meow Wolf, Kaitlyn led programs on arts and health; public art; arts and equity; arts education; cultural intersections through art; and intangible cultural heritage as a part of institutions such as the Business Council for the Arts and the University of Arizona.
