Galactic Waves tells a story of how our environment and lived experiences aren't just conceptual; they have a physical aspect, too, and its waves have been used to purify the land and life. Mathieu explores the sound that is produced when something vibrates in harmony or against the presumed natural order, hence the satellite centered in one the many eyes in this piece. This mural uses eyes throughout the painting to transmit messages showing various directions, offbeat trails, and a roadmap to remind us that if we LISTEN and follow the waves we can find our way home.
