The Moiré Room is a meditative and soothing interactive cuboid that awakens when participants enter, and reacts as they traverse the room. Integrating concepts of moiré, dazzle camouflage, op art and stroboscopic animation, this black and white experience morphs its visual and audio parameters as occupancy changes, forming a continuous image on walls and floor, and a smooth, ever-changing tone for integrated audio ambience. As generated lines scroll out, up, and away, curves and oscillations are introduced, deepening the infinite configuration and optical illusions.
