Bio
My assemblage sculptures and projections use bold color, pattern, and recognizable iconography. By repurposing and reviving discarded materials I find at scrap yards and thrift stores, I bring new context to misfit items. I also use video to document unique expressions from other creators.
With obscure materials and methods, I meld form and color to produce hypnotic visual scapes that immerse the viewer in light and sound. I often incorporate themes of wastefulness and the ways in which technology can be used for good or evil.
My op art is often kaleidoscopic, while my multi-media pieces project the viewer into the artwork itself, thus altering the piece.
I experiment often to ensure my art will never become static and predictable and will continue to evolve.
