Bio
Turbulent serpentine currents erode rock seeking sea level over millions of years. As mountains rise, fractures and folds expand through the Earth’s crust. I am a Colorado sculptor, who simulates geological processes through the use of heat and pressure. With a focus on geologic forces playing out over the seemingly unknowable expanse of time, my work seeks to relate the sublime nature of geological time to the human perception. I hold a B.Sc. in geology and MFA in metals/public art. I have exhibited sculpture throughout the world. My public and private commissions can be found from Colorado to Sweden.
