Mikhail Mansion is an artist, engineer, and founder of TRANS MISSION—a small art + technology studio based in South Saint Pete, Florida focused on designing new forms of interactive media artworks that delight, inform, educate and empower audiences. Before starting his own company Mikhail served as Director of Technology at the internationally recognized design company Tellart, where he used emerging technologies like robotics and AI, to help clients and cultural institution tell compelling stories through interactive products, installations and exhibits. As an artist, Mikhail is interested in designing generative graphics software and building handcrafted, electro-mechanical systems that connect with living environments to uncover the hidden poetry of forces, ephemera, and sensations embedded in the world around us.
