New Zealand artist Jess Johnson has been hand drawing a complex alien world over a decade-long practice. Necro Techno Flesh Complex transforms Jess’s illustrations into a real-world tessellated installation that creates a disturbance of perspective and illusion.
The glowing dome centerpiece contains her animated world in miniature, taking audiences on a psychedelic, musical odyssey through a shifting realm of flesh mandalas, self-replicating architecture, undulating worms, hallucinogenic patterns, and messianic alien deities.
