The Golden Grotto is a nod to small, picturesque caves scattered throughout Europe called grottos. Carved out of existing rocks, they usually included animal forms and water features. Some were lush with vegetation, both natural and/or cultivated. This “grotto” also has an ornate, rococo mirror embedded into the rock walls and the viewer can turn sconces on and off to change the mood. The Golden Grotto might make you question if it is a small room, an artificial cave, or a piece of girly furniture. With the sound of running water, you will feel that there is more to discover.
