Mirabelle Wolves Jones is a creative technologist and interdisciplinary artist from Oakland, CA who is a former Senior Designer / Developer for Meow Wolf's Interactive Technology Team. Their work explores the immersive storytelling potential of sensors, spatialized sound, LEDs, animatronics, XR, wearables, interactive books, sculptures, endurance performances, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. They possess an MFA in Book Art and Creative Writing from Mills College, a BA in Literature from the University of California in Santa Cruz, and are currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark in Human-Centered Computing and ethical AI. A proponent of STEAM education and interdisciplinary development, they present on the subject of inclusive immersive art and design at arts institutions around the globe.
