Situated around the main metropolitan areas of Houston are many other small cities and communities that feel worlds apart from the urban environment. Swamptown is one of the many bayou satellite cities just in earshot of the urban sprawl. The local flora and fauna is what you’d come to expect in a Houston bayou: herons, alligators, cypress trees, etc. However, there are also some species very specific to the area that were not native, but have since become acclimated to the environment, such as diamondback rattler dragons and small swamp dragons. The Yellow Bandit (my Pecos Bill-like persona that I’ve been making work about for the last year) has ventured his way down here to escape the law and to do some good fishing.
