VEND-L is a vending machine who sass talks visitors. They have different products for sale, but when visitors insert a quarter in the coin-op slot, they don't dispense anything - what a jerk. Most of the time they spout insults and jokes, but they do hint that there's info to trade. They might send you on a quest as part of the deal.
