The TV is new, obviously stolen, and thus prized as an object so much that it’s guarded by link fence segment locked with a chain and padlock. Besides the occasional video game, the TV serves another purpose, to send interior intelligence to other members of the gang, and turf expansion reports to Plotzo himself via sporadic interruptions on a hijacked music network called “Channel Z”, popular with the youth of the Undermall, and recently available in the converged worlds.
